Country came to town in an action-packed day of polo at Sydney’s Centennial Park. Glamorous guests packed into the marquees and pavilions surrounding the playing field enjoying the hospitality of sponsors as diverse as Stella Artois, Pol Roger, McGrath, SUNLUX Collection by Sun International and South African Tourism. The traditional divot stomp between games gave the well-dressed crowd a chance to show off their lavish looks and sensible footwear (heels are forbidden as they can damage the playing surface). Camilla kaftans were out in force, including the designer herself, sporting a stunning strapless version of the label. Buckets of Champagne and lashings of pukka picnic fare kept the guests fed and watered and of course, the action on the field was as fast and furious as it could possibly be in the truncated playing arena.
